This Friday, June 4, packets will be due from any Tesoro student hoping to join ASB for the 2010-2011 school year. If you missed the informational meeting, it is still possible to stop by the ASB room to get a packet. Interviews for all new hopefuls will begin next week.

Hi. My daughter (currently a freshman) completed a packet but when she arrived for the informational meeting there was a sign on the door that stated that the commissioner spots were for juniors and seniors only and, since there was nothing to indicate that the meeting was for anything other than for those who had completed a packet for a commissioner spot, she turned around and left , since she will be a sophomore next year and therefore not eligible for a commissioner spot. This was a bit frustrating for her, since the packet did not indicate a grade level limitation. Is there another way for incoming sophomores to become involved?
